The Angels that watch over me are extraordinary.   Getting to know yourself – well, there isn’t any other way to live, in my opinion.  However, as much as the joy outweighs the sorrow exponentially, there are still challenging times, days and even weeks. The difference is, though, I know that any time of perceived turmoil is helping me to release old belief systems and thought patterns. Meaning, there is ALWAYS a purpose.

Well, lately, I have been actively releasing old thought patterns and struggling to hang on to the inherent joy of any moment.  So, I have been actively asking all of my nonearthly guides to assist me in anyway possible to traverse this time with the most grace and ease possible. And, as usual, they did not let me down. I am once again feeling the joy and peace on a predominant basis. But, the best part of this story is what happened today after dropping off my youngest daughter at school. For whatever reason, I decided to select the song “Don’t Come Around Here No More” by Tom Petty on my way home. And, literally, ten seconds after the song started, “I Won’t Back Down” also by Tom Petty started playing without me touching my phone or any of the buttons on the car Bluetooth audio player. And that NEVER happens. NEVER.  And guess what beautiful Angels, I got the message!

“I Won’t Back Down”

Well, I won’t back down

No, I won’t back down

You can stand me up at the gates of hell

But I won’t back down

No, I’ll stand my ground, won’t be turned around

And I’ll keep this world from draggin’ me down

Gonna stand my ground and I won’t back down
(I won’t back down)

Hey baby, there ain’t no easy way out

(I won’t back down)

Hey, I will stand my ground and I won’t back down

Well, I know what’s right, I got just one life

In a world that keeps on pushin’ me around

But I’ll stand my ground and I won’t back down

(I won’t back down)

Hey baby, there ain’t no easy way out

(I won’t back down)

Hey, I will stand my ground

(I won’t back down)

And I won’t back down
